K-Tec debuted the all-new 1232 ADT scraper at Conexpo-CON/AGG 2026, adding a 32-cubic-yard model to its ADT scraper lineup. The 1232 ADT is designed to pair with 30–45 ton articulated trucks to deliver faster cycles, reduced fuel consumption, and a lower cost per yard. The new model builds on K-Tec’s continued focus on practical performance, fleet compatibility, and serviceability in the field.
A bigger, smarter step forward from the 1228
The 1232 ADT is the big brother to the proven 1228 ADT. This model takes lessons learned in the field to a higher level, building on a platform contractors already know while adding more capacity, more options, and refinements that make the scraper even more productive and versatile on today’s jobsites.
One of the most noticeable upgrades is capacity. With an added front gate extension and slightly taller sidewalls, the 1232 ADT increases its overall heaped capacity by 4 cubic yards over the 1228, allowing contractors to move more material per cycle while keeping the scraper ideally matched to one of the most widely used articulated truck classes in heavy earthmoving.
The 1232 ADT also shares common wear parts with larger K-Tec scraper models, helping simplify parts stocking and service planning for both dealers and contractors. It also brings important updates in durability and serviceability, including the replacement of ejector rollers with slider blocks, a change designed to improve wear life while simplifying long-term maintenance and replacement.
Modular design built for service and shipping
That same thinking carries through the scraper’s modular, bolt-together design. The platform is built to streamline manufacturing, support easier repairs, and improve long-term serviceability. By using a modular structure, the 1232 ADT is more efficient to assemble, easier to repair when damage occurs, and more practical to support across fleets operating in different regions and applications.
That modularity also creates a major advantage for international shipping. Instead of relying on more expensive RoRo shipping, the 1232 ADT can be containerized in a 40-foot high-cube container, reducing freight costs and simplifying export logistics for overseas markets.
Options to match the job
Just as important, the 1232 ADT offers several configurations so contractors can dial in the right machine for their operation. Available options include four 26.5 R25 tires to improve flotation, stability, and ground contact in softer underfoot conditions; a Push Roller that provides smoother push-loading with a dozer or Ox Block; and Grader Blades that help funnel material into the bowl during loading. Together, these options allow the 1232 ADT to be better matched to a wide range of jobsite conditions and production goals.
Tandem-ready for long haul, high-volume work
Contractors can also spec out a 1232 Lead unit configuration, which includes a rear hitch, ejector rack extension, and the hydraulic components needed to run the scraper in tandem. That setup allows two scrapers to operate together for a combined heaped capacity of 64 cubic yards, creating an even higher-production solution for operations looking to move more material per cycle.
Part of the next generation of smart scrapers
The launch of the 1232 ADT also aligns with K-Tec’s broader push into connected Smart Scraper technology. During CONEXPO 2026, K-Tec stated that built-in telematics will ship on all new ADT scraper models, signaling that the new 1232 is part of a more data-driven generation of K-Tec equipment focused on visibility, control, and production insight in the field.
Built around the contractor’s operation
The 1232 ADT is built to help contractors stay competitive, with added capacity, new features, and more ways to configure the right scraper for their operation.
“We’re really excited to get this new model out into the field behind your 30 to 45 ton articulating trucks,” said Shaun Eidse, Director of Product. “The extra capacity over the 1228 and the new features will allow you to move more dirt and be competitive in your market.”
Production of the K-Tec 1232 ADT is set to begin in fall 2026, with availability in 2027.
