Lighting can often be a challenge on a construction site and light masts are therefore a popular optional extra for portable compressors. However, with its M59 PE model, Kaeser is currently the only manufacturer to offer a compressor with a factory-integrated light mast. It operates without an additional internal generator, ensuring the work area remains safely illuminated at all times.

The light mast features four adjustable LED floodlights and forms part of the compressor itself, so it never needs to be transported separately. There is no additional equipment to manage on site. For transit, the mast retracts and locks securely in place. When deployed, it extends pneumatically to over three metres – streamlining night-time operations with built-in, reliable lighting.

The M59 PE is a standout model in the portable compressor range. It features the proven pV control found in larger MOBILAIR models, where the infinitely adjustable maximum pressure (p) directly determines the maximum flow rate (V). This flexibility allows a single machine to power a breaker at up to 7 bar just as easily as it performs sandblasting at 10 bar. Furthermore, the system effectively compensates for pressure drops when working with long hose lines.

At its lowest pressure setting, the M59 delivers a flow rate of up to 5.5 m³/min. Pressure adjustment is effortless via a single button on the proven Sigma Control Smart controller, while starting the machine is equally straightforward. In addition to the standard 10-bar model, a second version is available covering 6 to 14 bar, providing even greater versatility from a single compressor.

This portable compressor can also be equipped with an 8.5 or 13 kVA generator, doubling as a portable power source for the construction site. This is another area where pV control excels. By balancing the set pressure against the required electrical load, the controller ensures the maximum possible volume of compressed air is delivered while simultaneously providing electrical power.

In addition to the standard yellow, the robust gull-wing doors – manufactured from rotomoulded polyethylene – are available in a variety of custom colours, such as RAL 2009 traffic orange.
