With the CL140, Westtech presents the smallest cutting head in its series to date – developed for maximum manoeuvrability even in confined spaces.
The Woodcracker CL series now comprises four machine sizes and impresses with its particularly light, versatile, and powerful cutting heads. The low weight ensures maximum flexibility. This makes the models ideal for landscape gardeners, private forest owners, forestry contractors, and municipal professionals in landscape maintenance.
Suitable for excavator carrier vehicles from 1 to 20 tonnes, the CL series covers a wide range of applications. From the rapid harvesting of small trees, shrubs, and short rotation plantations to cultivation work, landscape maintenance, and maintenance measures in marshy areas or along stream embankments.
The new Woodcracker CL140 impresses with a cutting diameter of up to 180 mm in softwood and up to 150 mm in hardwood. It has a gripper opening of up to 440 mm and weighs 110 kg.
The cutting head is suitable for mini excavators with an operating weight of 1-4 tonnes. Like all cutting heads in the series, the CL140 is made of high-strength Hardox steel, primed with cathodic dip coating and easy to connect thanks to its plug-and-play system. The optionally available Autospeed ensures faster closing of the cutting mechanism, increases harvesting performance and reduces fuel consumption at the same time.
