MAN goes to the 2020 IFAT trade fair

Whether it’s with a refuse collector, a road sweeper, a winter service vehicle, a roll-off skip loader or a building yard truck…the employees of publicly and privately owned municipal services and waste disposal companies do important work for the community. At the 2020 IFAT trade fair in Munich, MAN, the brand with the lion on its grille, will be showcasing the vehicles that assist these people in their roles.

IFAT, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste, and raw materials management, which takes place from 4-8 May 2020 in Munich, will see MAN exhibit its new truck generation for the first time at an international trade fair since it was unveiled in February 2020 – in a pragmatic manner, of course, with true-to-life superstructures.

The right vehicle for the task at hand – business operators and municipal services begin their search for a tailor-made vehicle-superstructure combination with this very requirement in mind. Practicability and user-friendliness are of paramount importance to both employees and drivers. From vans right through to 4-axle vehicles, MAN kits out the vehicle fleets of municipal services and business operators. As a full-range supplier, MAN’s portfolio covers a total permissible weight range of 3 to 41 tonnes.

The 3 to 5.5-tonne van series, MAN TGE, will be represented at the IFAT trade fair by a compact and highly maneuverable refuse collector for city centers and pedestrian zones. Following on from this are the TGL, TGM, TGS and TGX series, which start at 7.5 tonnes. Vehicles from some of these series will be on show at the MAN trade fair stand, configured in a manner that is typical for the industry.
