Magni TH is number 1 in the world thanks to the RTH 6.51 model, which sets an absolute record for a telehandler by reaching a height of 51 meters. The RTH 6.51 is a machine that makes history. Part of Magni’s RTH range of telehandlers, it has a maximum lifting capacity of 6 tonnes and is the only telehandler in the world to reach a height of 51 meters.
It has the ability to reach and lift loads at extreme heights, making it suitable for large construction projects (such as tall buildings and bridges) and industrial maintenance tasks. The main applications of the RTH 6.51 are roof and facade work, steel structures and large construction projects.
With the ability to lift up to 16 stories, its small footprint and ability to rotate continuously 360 degrees make it particularly suitable for use in large cities where loads need to be positioned precisely, even in tight or hard-to-reach areas. But its benefits do not stop there. What makes this machine unique is its versatility, as it can operate as both a telehandler and a crane, combining the advantages of both.
In addition, as the RTH 6.51 can be fitted with a wide range of attachments, such as forks, buckets, hooks, jibs, winches, and baskets, it is suitable for jobs that would normally require the use of different machines and specialized personnel.
Another strength is safety, Magni’s number one priority. Like the other Magni TH machines, the RTH 6.51 is equipped with crane technology that allows the operator to track loads live throughout their load chart as they are lifting and sensors to stop the machine if the operator gets out of their lifting envelope, allowing the operator lift at ease without worrying about overloading the machine. Depending on the task at hand, which attachment you are using, and the weight of the loads, this RTH 6.51 could save time and money by replacing the need for a crane on site.
This machine is commonly paired with equipment such as boom lifts on site. In this case, the Magni can lift or place materials while another operator in a boom lift sets and installs. Because you are lifting at such great heights it can be difficult for the operator in the cab to have clear visibility at 50 meters, however with the camera on the tip of the boom, the operator can get a better vision of the placement of loads. Another feature of Magni Rotating Telehandlers is the ability to operate the machine via remote control. By adding this feature, the operator can now operate the machine from the 16th floor and safely position loads from a distance which can be especially valuable in challenging environments.
As these are particularly complex jobs, it’s essential to consider the specific needs of your project and the operating environment when choosing a telehandler. It’s important to ensure it is right for the job at hand. Additionally, operators should receive proper training to maximize the safety and efficiency of the equipment.
