F.lli Ferrari has increased choice and performance in its NEW AGE Line with the launch of the 40 tm family. The NEW AGE Line cranes have been designed and engineered to deliver top performance, ease of use and maintenance, and the highest level of modularity in models, features, and accessories. These cranes offer the best available warranty in the industry – 3 years general warranty and 5 years on structural parts.

The 40tm family comprises 5 models: 3 Rack & Pinion and 2 Endless Slewing models.
– 7401 C, Basic (40 tm, Rack & Pinion, Double Linkage, 430° Slewing Angle)
– 7401 SC, Short Boom, Basic (40 tm, Rack & Pinion, Double Linkage, Short Boom, 430° Slewing Angle)
– 7441 C, Proportional (44 tm, Rack & Pinion, Double linkage, 430° Slewing Angle, Proportional Power Boost (PPB)
– 9405 C, Basic (40 tm, Slewing Bearing, Double Linkage, Endless Slewing)
– 9445 C, Proportional (44 tm, Slewing Bearing, Double Linkage, Endless Slewing, Proportional Power Boost (PPB)

The cranes have from 2 to 8 extensions, 7.97 to 20.85 meters maximum outreach, and 10 tm Jib (not available for SC boom).

Innovative features which increase operator efficiency and safety include:
• Magic Touch (MT) allows the driver to open the crane from transport position and back, at the touch of a button.
• Dynamic Load Diagram (DLD) optimizes stabilization and allows the driver to verify in advance the crane lifting capacity based on truck stability.
• DLD Simulator shows the operator the possible working area for different scenarios of load and stabilizer extension before use.

Available as option in dedicated markets is the new feature Cranes 4.0, an innovative accessory designed to increase customer efficiency through an internet connection to the Cloud where all relevant data are stored to support crane operation and maintenance.

Operating performance is maximized with all the standard features of the tried and tested NEW AGE range.
These include:
• Articulated stabilizer feet for better stability, safety, and longer cylinder life
• Hoses and pipes running inside the stabilizer beams to guarantee a longer lifetime
• Extension Quick System (EQS) to increase the speed of extensions without compromising safety
• Smooth Descent Valve (SDV) to reduce oscillation and assure perfect control
• Red Power to improve versatility in many different working positions
• Soft closing retraction to reduce oscillation of the load during retraction
• Centralized Greasing System making regular maintenance easier
• High pressure filter
• Stability Control System
• Manual control and a wide range of radio controls
