The new GP15-35(C)P and DP20-35P3 ranges retain all of their predecessors’ rugged and powerful characteristics. These include outstanding traction on sloping or slippery surfaces. Along with strong performance, the latest engines are designed for high fuel efficiency and low emissions.

More electronic assistance
The trucks’ colour LCD display now features Bluetooth connectivity. This allows wireless connection to the Cat TruckTool app, which speeds up servicing. It also enables quick and touchless identification of drivers, via smartphone, to prevent unauthorised truck use.

Information on the truck’s operation and maintenance state are clearly displayed, so services can be optimally scheduled. Fault alerts prompt users to take appropriate actions to avoid damage. An optional low LPG level warning is now available to guard against runouts.

The VCM manages a variety of truck and operator functions, allowing easy troubleshooting and pinpointing of problems. An additional function, now standard on these ranges, is a speed limiter. It can be set to an appropriate level for the work site’s safety.

Four diesel and seven LPG models to choose from
There are four diesel and seven LPG models to choose from, with different load capacities, frame types and engine sizes. Within that range there are ideal matches for numerous industrial applications. The enlarged choice of optional features now makes even more precise matching possible.

To cater for varying driver preferences, there are several hydraulic control options. Conventional manual levers remain standard, with fingertip control units or dual joysticks as alternatives. To those, the option of a single manual hydraulic control lever has now been added.

For operations requiring extra comfort, air suspension seats with cloth or vinyl covers join the previous seating options.

A simple acrylic rain guard is now offered alongside the existing panel and deluxe cabin options. Customers can select the specification best suited to their workplace conditions and the drivers’ degree of exposure to the weather.
