Mecalac acquires Terex Construction equipments’ British branch, located in Coventry, England. Annecy-le-Vieux, Groupe Mecalac S.A. signed an agreement with the company Terex Corporation (Westport, CT) on December 10, 2016, to acquire their backhoe loaders, site dumpers and compaction rollers’ dedicated subsidiary, also known under the Fermec and Benford brands.
The Groupe Mecalac is specialized in the designing, manufacturing and distribution of construction equipment, especially used in urban construction sites. This acquisition allows Groupe Mecalac to broaden its offering with a complementary range of products, open up to new geographical distribution areas and expand the Group’s companies’ industrial know-how.
The acquisition will be completed during the first semester of 2017.
