Sennebogen will present the new 895 E, the largest material handler ever built, to the public at bauma 2019. The gigantic machine is impressive with its operational weight of around 390 t and reach of up to 40 m. Sennebogen will present the largest material handler in the world at its factory premises in Straubing during bauma, once again setting new standards in challenging material handling.
Bigger, higher, wider – that’s how the development in material handlers over the last few years can be summarized. The Bavarian machine manufacturer Sennebogen has taken things a step further with the world’s largest material handler. The new giant bears the title 895 E and going forward will lead the way for the green port material handler product range.
The development of the new material handler has focused particularly on energy efficiency and the driver comfort that Sennebogen is known for. The Sennebogen 895 E comes, therefore, with an energy recovery system and in multiple drive versions. Multiple cab elevations are available to drivers to give them the optimum view of the work environment.
The machine will be ready in time for bauma in April, promises CEO Erich Sennebogen. “The dimensions of the largest material handler have made everything else that Sennebogen has ever produced seem small, the operational weight alone is around 390 t. This, and the size of the attachments, make transport to and assembly at the fair impossible. So we are showing the machine to any interested customers at our plant in Straubing during the bauma week,” explains Erich Sennebogen.
