Cat Lift Trucks has increased customer choice with its extended and updated entry-level EQ Line. The range now includes EQ Line electric counterbalance models, as well as an updated EQ Line warehouse collection.
These developments recognise that not everyone needs high-spec forklifts. For less intensive jobs, requiring occasional or lighter use, a dependable entry-level lift truck is enough. That’s where the EQ Line comes in. Each has everything the user needs to do the job – in a simple, straightforward package.
But with EQ Line products there’s the extra assurance of inbuilt Cat lift truck qualities. Like sturdy construction, easy maintenance, energy efficiency, robust performance, user-friendly design, and safety.
EQ Line electric counterbalance forklifts introduced
EQ Line electric counterbalance trucks – Cat EP16-35Q(T)(L) – are equally at home in warehouse aisles or weather-beaten yards. That flexibility reduces customers’ fleet needs and investment costs. They can choose from three or four wheels, 48 or 80V battery power, and capacities from 1.6 to 3.5 tonnes. There’s an ideal model for every job – without overspecifying.
The trucks are user-friendly without being unnecessarily luxurious. Familiar and intuitively functioning controls combine with comfortable seating and low vibration levels to create good conditions for productivity. To minimise accident risks, they’re equipped with a variety of safety aids.
EQ Line warehouse equipment updated
A review of the EQ Line warehouse models and specifications has resulted in an all-new portfolio. The aim, as before, has been to optimise the balance of simplicity, economy and performance.
The new warehouse line-up comprises:
• Mini power pallet trucks
• Pedestrian power pallet trucks – 1.6 and 2.0 tonnes
• A platform power pallet truck
• Compact pedestrian stackers – mono mast and duplex mast
• Sit-on tow trucks
• A mini order picker (also functioning as a safe rising work platform)
Entry-level lift trucks with Li-ion technology as standard
All EQ Line counterbalance and warehouse lift trucks benefit from the productivity, efficiency and long-term cost-saving advantages of lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery technology. Runtimes are longer; power levels are more consistent; no battery maintenance is needed; and battery lifespan is extended. In addition, opportunity charging can keep the trucks working without battery changes.
