Launched this spring at Bauma 2016 and available commercially later this year, the Sany SW405K wheel loader will feature the Spicer TZL18 powershift transmission and Spicer 37R rigid planetary axles.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Sany SW405K wheel loader has been designed for end users in Europe and North America, meeting the requirements of EU Stage IV and U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards. It offers high operating speeds and abundant power with a 180-kW (241-horsepower) DEUTZ TCD 7.8 L6 engine. &#8220;The Sany SW405K wheel loader features the latest technologies for improving fuel economy and maximizing performance,&#8221; said Xiang Wenbo, president of Sany Heavy Industrial. &#8220;With a commitment to innovation as well as extensive engineering and manufacturing resources in China, Dana is an ideal partner for helping us extend Sany&#8217;s reputation as a world leader in high-quality, technologically advanced construction machinery.&#8221; <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/00480164.jpg\" alt=\"00480164\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3011\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/00480164.jpg 650w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/00480164-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Specifically engineered for the global wheel loader market, Spicer TZL Series powershift transmissions are designed to enhance productivity, extend equipment life, and offer improved fuel efficiency that helps manufacturers meet regional emissions regulations. The Spicer TZL18 transmission used on the Sany SW405K wheel loader is equipped with next-generation electronic controls to deliver continuous system monitoring, automatic shifting, advanced inching capability, and other advanced features.<br \/>\nSpicer 37R axles have been re-engineered and upgraded to offer the same performance as previous versions while reducing axle weight by up to 25 percent. With the planetary and wet disc brakes positioned inboard, Spicer 37R axles feature a modular design and a differential carrier with Posi-Torq\u2122 and Hydra-Lok\u2122 options that include high-integrity sealings. <\/p>\n<p>Also at bauma, Dana announced the availability of the Spicer Smart Suite intelligent load monitoring system (ILMS), an advanced technology option for telehandlers that uses data from across the vehicle to prevent tip-over incidents, provide better estimates of static loads, and supply intelligent calibration management. Dana has begun testing Spicer Smart Suite ILMS on a telehandler powered by an 83 kW (111 hp) engine, with plans to make the technology available for testing by vehicle manufacturers by the end of 2016.
