These experiences contribute to the continued development of the entire HUDDIG 1370 platform\u2014for both hybrid machines and hydrostatic-driven models.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>HUDDIG The TIGON G2<\/strong> is an important step in Huddig\u2019s continued development. We build machines that meet our customers\u2019 high demands for performance, efficiency, and flexibility. At the same time, we are constantly seeking new ways to improve the workday for those who work in and around the machine. In the new TIGON generation, we combine our long experience with excavator loader with ongoing technological development and electrification. We\u2019re also developing how we\u2019ll build our machines going forward,\u201d says H\u00e5kan B\u00e4ckstr\u00f6m, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/?s=huddig\" target=\"_blank\"><font color=\"darkorange\">Huddig<\/font><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Real-world machine data drives development<\/strong><br \/>\nHUDDIG The 1370 TIGON G2 builds on the experience gained from the first mass-produced generation. Four years of customer feedback, collected machine data, and practical experience from machines in operation have provided Huddig with a valuable foundation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/huddig-3.jpg\" alt=\"Huddig a lansat noua genera\u021bie a tehnologiei Tigon \u2013 HUDDIG 1370 TIGON G2\" width=\"400\" height=\"443\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-27174\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/huddig-3.jpg 400w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/huddig-3-271x300.jpg 271w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>The existing HUDDIG TIGON fleet consists of 41 machines that have collectively operated for 96,306 hours. Machine data shows that they have been powered by electricity for 56.68 percent of their operating time and have saved an estimated 531,621 liters of diesel. This corresponds to approximately 1,372 metric tons of CO\u2082.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith nearly 100,000 hours of actual operation, we\u2019ve had a very solid foundation for our development work. The larger battery makes it possible to run on electric power even more, and we therefore expect to be able to improve these figures even further with the TIGON G2 HUDDIG ,\u201d says Daniel \u00c5kerstr\u00f6m, design engineer at Huddig.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A larger battery provides more time on electric power<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of the biggest new features of the HUDDIG 1370 TIGON G2 is its new battery. The capacity has increased from 44 to 61 kWh\u2014an increase of nearly 40 percent. The higher capacity doesn&#8217;t just provide more available energy. The machine can also harness significantly more of the energy recovered while driving, such as during braking and when driving downhill.<\/p>\n<p>The battery performs optimally within the range of approximately 20\u201380 percent. With the higher capacity, there is now significantly more usable energy within this operating range. The result is more time running on electric power, more efficient energy recovery, and fewer charging cycles over time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/huddig-4.jpg\" alt=\"Huddig a lansat noua genera\u021bie a tehnologiei Tigon \u2013 HUDDIG 1370 TIGON G2\" width=\"400\" height=\"443\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-27175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/huddig-4.jpg 400w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/huddig-4-271x300.jpg 271w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><strong>More possibilities with the same machine<\/strong><br \/>\nHUDDIG The 1370 TIGON G2 can be equipped for even more types of work. The new generation is compatible with a wider range of Huddig\u2019s equipment lineup, including a loader-mounted crane (LCC), Huddig\u2019s new remote control for the machine (RC), the LIFT Type II, and the LIFT 2200C, which can also be equipped with an RC and an insulated basket (LWI).<\/p>\n<p>This makes the machine even more flexible and suitable for a wider range of applications\u2014from traditional construction projects to utility work and railway work.<\/p>\n<p>For contractors, it\u2019s about being able to do more with the same machine. \u201cThe combination of extended electric runtime and more attachment options makes the HUDDIG TIGON G2 even more versatile and provides greater freedom to adapt the machine to the job at hand. The electric powertrain can also provide a clear competitive advantage in jobs where low emissions and low noise levels are becoming increasingly important,\u201d says Daniel Myrgren, Marketing and Sales Manager at Huddig.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Connected via Huddig Echo<\/strong><br \/>\nHUDDIG The 1370 TIGON G2 is also compatible with Huddig Echo\u2014Huddig\u2019s fleet management system for operators and machine owners. The new web app brings together information about the machines in one place. It includes operating data, machine status, fuel levels, and a comprehensive overview of the entire machine fleet. This provides better opportunities to track the machines, plan the workday, and gain a clearer picture of how they are being used.
