Thanks to optimized material composition and geometry, the new PUR wheel enables a performance increase of 10 percent more load capacity and a 30% higher speed compared to existing LRS wheels.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/pur-wheel.png\" alt=\"Demag prezint\u0103 noul sistem de ro\u021bi bloc PUR\" width=\"400\" height=\"283\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-26375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/pur-wheel.png 400w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/pur-wheel-300x212.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><strong>Robust, heavy-duty and designed for high speeds<\/strong><br \/>\nThe new wheel combines an extremely robust cast core with a newly developed polyurethane (PUR) drum. This not only ensures higher speeds, but also allows larger payloads to be absorbed. Extensive test series in the <a href=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/?s=Demag\" target=\"_blank\"><font color=\"darkorange\">Demag<\/font><\/a> test field confirm the increased performance and durability of the design. Guided on aluminum rails, the PUR impeller is also characterized by particularly quiet and rail-friendly running \u2013 an important advantage for dynamic material flows in industrial plants. In addition, the wheel is suitable for use on steel rails as well as on concrete floors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Four sizes, two designs \u2013 up to 4.65 tonnes load capacity and 260 m\/min speed<\/strong><br \/>\nThe PUR wheel is available in four sizes and two designs. Depending on the version, the load capacities range up to 4,650 kg, and the maximum achievable speed is 260 m\/min.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/demag-booth.jpg.png\" alt=\"Demag prezint\u0103 noul sistem de ro\u021bi bloc PUR\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-26376\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/demag-booth.jpg.png 400w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/demag-booth.jpg-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><strong>Flexible mounting \u2013 suitable for a wide range of applications<\/strong><br \/>\nThe F+ design is available in two variants:<br \/>\n&#8211; For sizes 200, 250 and 350, a highly robust nodular cast iron block housing with five precisely machined connection surfaces is available.<br \/>\n&#8211; For size 450, a flange bearing is offered as an alternative for attachment to metal structures.<br \/>\nBoth variants allow for quick installation and removal, without the need for special tools. A zinc flake coating provides additional surface protection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Significantly higher process reliability thanks to stable PUR drum<\/strong><br \/>\nWhile conventional Hydropur drum wheels can lose their load capacity by up to 50 percent after just two hours when stationary under load, the new PUR wheel from Demag remains fully load-bearing even after longer periods of service under high loads.
