We are especially proud to announce the optional all-wheel steering, a first-in-the-market for heavy wheeled excavators, which makes these machines the ultimate combination of mobility and performance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You can quickly transport your new <a href=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/?s=komatsu\" target=\"_blank\"><font color=\"darkorange\">Komatsu<\/font><\/a> wheeled excavators to the next construction site without needing a special low-bed trailer, and work with them in narrow, limited space. With a low transportation height of just 3.1 m, transport on standard low-bed trailers with a loading height of up to 4 m is possible. The short rear overhang of 1.80 m for PW148-11 is ideal for narrow construction sites.<\/p>\n<p>Equipped with 4-cylinder Komatsu diesel engines (110 kW or 129 kW), the new wheeled excavators dig, lift and pull away almost anything on your job site. These engines meet the current EU Stage V emissions standards and are factory supplied with environmentally friendly HVO Diesel fuel as standard. The unique machine design with an optimized boom and rear engine enables enormous lifting performance to move heavy loads easily. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/PW148-11E1_1-copy.png\" alt=\"Komatsu anun\u021b\u0103 noile excavatoare pe ro\u021bi PW148-11 \u0219i PW190-11\" width=\"400\" height=\"297\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-24727\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/PW148-11E1_1-copy.png 400w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/PW148-11E1_1-copy-300x223.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>The active driving performance of the new models is also impressive. Thanks to a low center of gravity, the machines feel stable on any road. The new premium seat with multi-stage ventilation and seat heating is particularly comfortable. All important functions can be operated via the joysticks, and the excellent all-round visibility is supported by four cameras with a bird&#8217;s eye view as standard.<\/p>\n<p>As a key machine, the mobile excavator is increasingly being used with a tiltrotator and 3D guidance system. The new models are open to any kind of system and are prepared for use with titrotators as well as for 3D guidance systems. With useful extras such as joystick steering, tool control management or trailer coupling, the PW148 and PW190 can be optimally prepared for tough construction sites. <\/p>\n<p>Completely new and available for the first time for heavy wheeled excavators is the optional all-wheel steering. With this option, the driver can choose between three steering modes: front-wheel steering, all-wheel steering or crab steering. This means that even large machines can be turned in very tight spaces on construction sites or moved parallel to walls or trenches.<\/p>\n<p>The new Komatsu diesel particle filters, which are replaced only after 8,000 hours, enable long, uninterrupted work. Exhaust gas treatment is carried out fully automatically, without disrupting the workflow. Stable and robustly built, all maintenance points are centralized and easily accessible from ground level behind steel flaps.
