The Korean company took full advantage of Bauma to promote its eco-friendly, smart construction equipment and technologies, seeking recognition for its competitive machines.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hyundai-hydrogen-excavator-bauma-2022.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"326\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-19534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hyundai-hydrogen-excavator-bauma-2022.jpg 350w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hyundai-hydrogen-excavator-bauma-2022-300x279.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/>This is in line with the global construction equipment market trend, where demand for eco-friendly and compact products has been steadily increasing in developed markets such as North America and Europe recently. <\/p>\n<p>According to Off-Highway Research, a global construction equipment research institute, the demand for compact machines in the European construction equipment market is expected to grow continuously, with the market share of compact equipment forecasted to increase from 45% in 2021 to 53% by 2025. The European market in particular has shown a high level of interest and demand for eco-friendly equipment as the region\u2019s emission standards on carbon neutrality are extremely high.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hyundai_bauma-2022-_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"250\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-19533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hyundai_bauma-2022-_.jpg 350w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hyundai_bauma-2022-_-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/>In accordance with such trends, Hyundai Construction Equipment showcased its 14-ton hydrogen excavator developed for the first time in Korea in 2020, and a hydrogen fuel cell power pack. The HYUNDAI CONNECT zone also attracted visitors to better understand unmanned automation technologies.<\/p>\n<p>Hyundai Doosan Infracore&#8217;s engine division presented its electric battery packs for the first time at Bauma, as a part of the company\u2019s strategy to expand its business, currently focused on internal combustion engines, to one that is more complex, and inclusive of electrification solutions.
