This range consists of 4 models: 2 rail-road excavators on tracks, the 106MRail<\/strong> and the 136MRail<\/strong> (from 10 to 13 tons), and 2 on wheels, the 156MRail<\/strong> and the 216MRail<\/strong> (from 15 to 21 tons). Mecalac’s offer comes at the right time for the rail industry which experiences an extremely strong dynamic. \"\"Following the 714MW RR, the long-lasting success of the 8MCR RR, and the exceptional start of the 216MRail (in 2020)<\/a><\/strong>, Mecalac is now offering a brand-new range of rail-road excavators, the MRail-Series. The manufacturer has been working with renowned rail partners for over 20 years. Mecalac has acquired solid expertise from this partnership regarding this highly specialized and very demanding segment.<\/p>\n

Mecalac is now strongly positioned in this international market and has just set up a new division dedicated to the rail business, from research and development to product and sales support. The MRail-Series machines are assembled on Mecalac’s production lines. \"\"4 MRail machines: a solution for every jobsite <\/strong>
\nThe rail market is vast: national railways, private tracks, tramways, and underground networks. Track gauges and regulations vary from country to country. Jobsites requirements are also very different, depending on whether they are focused on maintenance, modernization, or construction of new tracks. Taking all these parameters into account, Mecalac’s MRail-Series can offer you the right machine for your needs.<\/p>\n

The 106MRail<\/strong> and 136MRail<\/strong> tracked excavators build on the MCR concept<\/strong>. This concept, the fusion of a compact loader and an excavator, brings the speed and productivity of a loader to the 360\u00b0 rotation of an excavator. They are designed to be the ultimate utility machine for most of the service and maintenance works. They are also ideal for work in tunnels or in tight areas.<\/p>\n

The 106MRail is the smallest machine of the MRail-Series. It features a two-piece boom with offset as standard and is extremely compact. Easy to operate, it is also the ideal support for heavier equipment. <\/p>\n

The 216MRail is the strongest machine for the toughest jobs, always with zero compromises on maneuverability, agility, and compactness. It is compatible with the EN15746 regulation, the most stringent regulation for the rail segment. It has all the necessary safety features and a pneumatic system for trailers.<\/p>\n
