In 2021, Indexator will fully launch smart rotator systems, where the angle and angle velocity can be sent back to the machine control system. This is an important step to enable semi or full automation systems. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Innovation and product development are natural ingredients within Indexator\u2019s daily operations. With 40 year\u2019s experience in rotator manufacturing, Indexator has a market-leading position. With the patented and verified Indexator smart system, the rotator position and angle velocity will be sent back to the base machines control system. This enables the possibility to develop a semi and full automation system on the rotator function. \u201eBy using the smart rotator system machine operations will be more productive and thereby more profitable for the machine owner\u201d, says Emma Forsgren, Engineering Manager at Indexator. <\/p>\n<p><em>Diagnostic tool built-in to the system<\/em><br \/>\nBesides determining rotator position and angle velocity, the sensor also has a palette of diagnostic codes which is sent back to the system. \u201eFor safety reasons, the sensor also sends redundant signals to the CAN-BUS network\u201d, says Emil H\u00f6rnberg, leading engineer for the smart rotator project. <\/p>\n<p><em>Available within Indexators standard rotator interface<\/em><br \/>\nIndexator has long experience in developing solutions for OEM and therefore understands the importance of compatibility.
