Packed with customer-focused features, the WB97R-8 offers two-wheel steering and a powershift transmission, a high level of standard specifications and unrivaled operator visibility thanks to Komatsu\u2019s unique combination of a lateral exhaust pipe and compact bonnet.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Built around the successful features of previous Komatsu backhoe loaders, the new Komatsu WB97R-8 has an operating weight of 8.145 kg, and an improved EU Stage IV Komatsu engine with more power (75 kW \/101 HP gross), lower fuel consumption and great performances for productivity. A viscous fan clutch helps to achieve fuel savings by reducing the engine load when maximum cooling is not required. With a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system using AdBlue, the new after-treatment system greatly lowers harmful NOx emissions, protecting the operator, bystanders, and the environment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/WB97R-8_2-Copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"318\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-13338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/WB97R-8_2-Copy.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/WB97R-8_2-Copy-283x300.jpg 283w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Versatility is a must for any backhoe loader: for fast and smooth operations in any application, Komatsu\u2019s well-proven Closed Load Sensing System is at the core of the new WB97R-8\u2019s hydraulics. It is supplemented by Komatsu\u2019s exclusive parallel loader linkage, ideal for working with forks. The standard \u201cReturn to Dig\u201d function, a kick-down switch, and, for the loader, a new automatic \u201cspeed up\u201d and a selectable floating function, confirm this new backhoe loader as a premium package for customers.<\/p>\n<p>Safety is the number one priority for Komatsu. Hose burst valves are included for backhoe cylinders and on stabilizers. The new \u201cEngine Shutdown\u201d secondary switch, easy to reach from ground level, the new \u201cTravel Neutral\u201d lock, and \u201cStreet Mode\u201d functions and the new optical seat belt warning complete Komatsu\u2019s safe environment for the operator.<\/p>\n<p>Side dashboard has been redesigned; the new accelerator pedal, fuel dial, and standard air-suspension seat further promote comfortable and productive cab interiors. The latest KOMTRAX technology and a new 7\u2019\u2019 multi-function color monitor, with fuel consumption indications and maintenance info displayed in one of 15 built-in languages, improve communications between the machine and the operator and contribute to the optimization of the total cost of ownership.<\/p>\n<p>The battery, main switch, and relays are conveniently located, with easy maintenance access to the electrical system. The AdBlue tank is accessible from ground level for a quick, easy and safe refill.
