Under the banner of \u2018Revolutionizing Power\u2019, the leading international engine specialist has combined diesel, gas, hybrid, electric and hydrogen technologies to create the best possible solution for every customer. The solutions are configured using the Deutz Advanced Configurator, a modular product design toolbox. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/E-DEUTZ_JLG_Telehandler_Concept.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"207\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-12867\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/E-DEUTZ_JLG_Telehandler_Concept.png 450w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/E-DEUTZ_JLG_Telehandler_Concept-300x138.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/>Among the customer examples presented by Deutz was the all-electric JLG telescopic handler concept G5-18A, which was developed in collaboration with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jlg.com\/en\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">JLG<\/a><\/strong>. The compact 360-volt drive system uses a split drive comprising two 40 kW electric motors \u2013 one for driving and one for the hydraulics in the telescopic arm. As is typical for electric engines, the system delivers instant torque, making the machine even more dynamic. The battery is from the E-Deutz modular toolbox and offers 42 kWh of capacity. The 6.6 kW charging system can restore the battery charge to 80 percent within four hours. <\/p>\n<p>Deutz has also presented an electric hybrid drive system that was designed specifically for use in aerial working platforms for low-load applications. The new Deutz D 1.2 hybrid engine combines a highly compact three-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of 1.2 liters and a 48-volt electric motor. <\/p>\n<p>A battery system developed in collaboration with Futavis, which is now ready for pilot production, was another highlight at the exhibition. Hundreds of these systems have already been built. Deutz acquired German battery specialist <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/en\/deutz-a-achizitionat-specialistul-in-baterii-futavis\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Futavis<\/a><\/strong> in 2019 in order to strengthen its inhouse expertise in the key area of battery technology. The market-ready system underlines Deutz\u2019s strategic focus on electrifying its product range and on developing and industrializing its engineering expertise, high-voltage batteries, and electric drive trains. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/89507227_2956856077739187_1924898033036689408_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"224\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-12868\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/89507227_2956856077739187_1924898033036689408_o.jpg 400w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/89507227_2956856077739187_1924898033036689408_o-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>Dr. Frank Hiller, Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutz AG, explained: \u201cWhen tackling the challenge of making drive solutions sustainable for the future, we always keep our minds open to all technologies. Our approach builds on intelligent combinations of electric drives and internal combustion engines that offer the potential to be operated in a carbon-neutral manner in the future using sustainable fuels.\u201d One example is the TCG 7.8 H2 hydrogen motor offered by Deutz \u2013 a cost-efficient alternative to other \u2018zero-emission\u2019 technologies such as fuel cells. <\/p>\n<p>In the service business, Deutz has been presenting its innovative Advanced Repair approach, which encompasses various digital service concepts for ensuring that machinery and equipment can be deployed safely, efficiently, and conveniently.
