Products being shown for the first time at Samoter include Doosan\u2019s new Stage V compliant 30-40 tonne crawler excavators accompanied by the launch of a new range of High Reach Demolition Excavators. Also appearing for the first time at the show are the high-performance DL280-5, DL420CVT-5 and DL580-5 wheel loaders and the DX35z mini-excavator. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/18-02-2020-samoter-cover.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"140\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-12637\" \/>Complementing these products, Doosan is showing new technologies under the company\u2019s \u2018Powered by Innovation\u2019 umbrella, expanding its Smart Solutions portfolio for Doosan construction, quarry, and mining equipment. Doosan is aiming to give visitors a preview of what will be coming in the future, including Concept-X, a new comprehensive control solution to operate equipment without human intervention. At Samoter, Doosan will also be focusing on the company\u2019s new fuel cell drones for monitoring machine performance and wider operation efficiency on construction, mine and quarry sites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exceeding Stage V regulations<\/strong><br \/>\nDoosan\u2019s new Stage V excavators build on the very successful design of the previous Stage IV machines. As well as higher performance and cost savings, the new Stage V excavators provide major enhancements in operator comfort, uptime and return on investment, with a strong focus on low fuel consumption, increased power, robustness, and versatility.<\/p>\n<p>To meet Stage V engine emission regulations, the new excavators are powered by the latest generation Doosan diesel engines. These offer a new solution to exceed Stage V regulations without exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), which boosts the quantity of air available during combustion, increasing the temperature of the process and greatly reducing the number of particulates produced. This is combined with super-efficient DOC\/DPF+SCR after-treatment technology to ensure minimal emissions. Thanks to the new technology, maintenance of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) has been greatly reduced, with no maintenance required until the machine has operated for 8000 hours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/18-02-2020-samoter-balcony-romeo-juliet.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"401\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-12638\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/18-02-2020-samoter-balcony-romeo-juliet.jpg 400w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/18-02-2020-samoter-balcony-romeo-juliet-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/18-02-2020-samoter-balcony-romeo-juliet-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><strong>New demolition excavators<\/strong><br \/>\nThe new High Reach Demolition excavators from Doosan feature a modular boom design and hydraulic lock mechanism to provide a complete, flexible solution in the same machine. As a result, it is a simple process for the operator to change between a demolition boom and an earthmoving boom to accomplish different applications on site. The new machines have a high visibility cab which is designed for high reach demolition applications with a 30-degree tilting angle. Safety functions assist the operator in both the production and performance aspects of the machine, whilst the hydraulically adjustable undercarriage provides optimum stability for work and reduced width for transportation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>High breakout force<\/strong><br \/>\nDoosan is showing a waste and recycling version of the new DL280-5 wheel loader, which is also ideal for general industrial and agriculture applications. Powered by the well-proven DL06 diesel engine, providing 128 kW (172 HP) of power, the DL280-5 offers high performance and high productivity with an outstanding breakout force of 145 kN, combined with a high tipping load and enhanced output.<\/p>\n<p>The DL420CVT-5 wheel loader is the first model in the Doosan wheel loader range to be equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). A CVT transmission is composed of a hydraulic motor combined with a hydraulic pump which provides a smooth and continuous speed variation. With the CVT, a fuel saving of up to 15% can be achieved.<\/p>\n<p>The latest introduction from Doosan is the new DL580-5 top-of-the-range wheel loader. With a bucket capacity of 5.4 m3, the DL580-5 has a similar look to the existing DL550-5 model but features robust structural components and an advanced sophisticated double circuit axle cooling system to provide an ideal solution for applications such as block lifting and other heavier material-handling needs in industrial, construction, recycling, mining and quarrying applications.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/21-01-2020-ces2020-drone-awards-three.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"255\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-12639\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/21-01-2020-ces2020-drone-awards-three.jpg 400w, https:\/\/mequipment.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/21-01-2020-ces2020-drone-awards-three-300x191.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><strong>Doosan Smart Solutions<\/strong><br \/>\nAmong the new developments in the company\u2019s Smart Solutions portfolio are the new fuel-cell powered drones from Doosan Mobility Innovation, which can monitor and document materials, equipment and transit routes for improved operational workflow. Capable of flying up to two hours on one charge, these long-endurance fuel-cell-powered drones can cover even large sites in a single flight, versus using multiple batteries and flight locations. Using the drones can also improve the safety of workers and prevent accidents by using aerial scanning rather than manual materials climbing.<\/p>\n<p>To meet the increasing demand for the increased efficiency offered by machine guidance systems on excavators, Doosan Smart Solutions is also offering new Leica, Trimble and Xsite Ready Kits for the Doosan wheeled and crawler excavators from 14 to 30 tonne.
