The year that beat all the records in a unique atmosphere

JDL-EXPO, the exhibition for working at height and heavy transport equipment, will open its doors on 25, 26 and 27 September 2019, in Beaune, France, ideally situated at the crossroads of the great European trade routes. To compete and grow, the JDL-EXPO has settled in Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy, with a clear desire to establish an event in a very green and practice area with easy access. With each edition, the exhibition grows. Starting in 2008 with 50 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors, the 2019 edition will welcome 18,000 visitors, including 80% of decision-makers for 3 days of exchanges, demonstrations and innovations with 200 exhibitors, 600 brands, and more than 800 materials and products. This year, the organizers have mobilized all their efforts to host visitors largely composed of end users.

800 equipment and accessories will make one, because each product, from the platform to the outrigger pads, the crane to the sling, the trailer to the tires, the loader crane to the truck and the radio controls, can not operate one without the other. Cranes up to 650 tons, platforms up to 90 meters high, trailers up to 30 meters long, forklifts with up to 25 tons capacity, handling systems capable of lifting loads up to 500 tons… Exceptional capacities and heights for companies just as exceptional without whom no construction site could work.

With a year strong on news, the biggest brands are represented and are preparing to exhibit their innumerable new products. The JDL-EXPO which plays a role of business accelerator is particularly proud to announce that LOXAM will be present on an outdoor stand and will exhibit its materials and services. This first-ever participation of the European No. 1 in rental companies confirms the new dimension of the exhibition.

Every day, JDL-EXPO registers entries for the show, recalling the diversity of visitors focused on work at height, handling and heavy transport equipment. Thereby, network managers, carpenters, trimmers, renters, major accounts of construction and civil engineering, communities, facade specialists, maintenance companies, tower crane assemblers, heavy parts manufacturers such as transformers, wind turbines, TBMʼs …, foresters, port authorities, handlers… have booked their dates to come and walk the aisles of the show that will offer this year the most beautiful parade of gears ever exposed at JDL-EXPO.

The material in honor with the “Grand Paris”
The tower crane will be particularly honored, since the profession under cover of the SPMDG-DLR, will reward during the show its most beautiful sites, its assemblers, its equipment, its renters. A moment that will welcome the big names in the French construction industry gathered Thursday, September 26 for “Grand Paris”. Supported by the major federations that are representative of the profession, the JDL-EXPO represents a global production chain, innovative and totally connected.

Networks
JDL-EXPO 2019 will be the most significant French event of the year. The teams present will highlight their know-how in terms of service and conviviality for visitors and exhibitors, driven by the new technical needs, to meet and discuss their material investments for the markets of tomorrow, asking to respond today to new requirements regulatory and environmental issues. To cover an even higher demand and for the very first time, a material demonstration area “Green” and innovative, led by manufacturers, will raise awareness of companies concerned about environmental degradation through material developing solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Many actors of the industry are working to adapt alternative solutions to reduce our carbon footprint. This Innovation Zone aims to present the latest achievements of the manufacturers involved in this challenge: The presence in this “Green” area will affirm the involvement in the protection of our planet while highlighting to our visitors the solutions to meet the increasing demand of industry and local communities for the supply of tools with low CO2 and noise emissions. Ipaf, partner of the JDL-EXPO, will animate this zone with “Security” demonstrations.

Forestry
The geographical position of the JDL-EXPO, ideally located on the edge of Morvan, Jura and Vosges, will allow foresters and users of material handling equipment specialized in the field, to discover the latest innovations from manufacturers and also to participate at handling demonstrations (loading and unloading of logs…).

Inland waterways
Port handling will also be widely promoted with multimodal and river transport: the Rhone-Saone axis, a large-scale route, that makes possible to serve the heavy and exceptional transports, thanks to internal river ports such as those of Lyon, Mâcon, Châlon-sur-Saône, Avignon and the Grand Port Maritime from Marseille to Strasbourg via Paris, Le Havre …! Today’s essential solutions and equipment that reinforce and must be known! The JDL-EXPO covers an entire profession that brings together and has more than 12.35 billion euros of turnover with more than 41,700 employees in the distribution and rental of construction equipment. France is one of Europe’s leading markets for the use of construction and material handling equipment. It is also one of the leading producers in this sector.
